Canada for a bit

I had such a wonderful time with my brother in BC. It was definitely a highlight of my trip to see his life and experience a bit of Canada. (p.s. I was without a camera at this time so I had to use my phone for these pictures. I'm pretty impressed with you, Lil' Samsung.)

Kansas- On the Farm

I love visiting my grandparent's farm in Kansas. It always feels very peaceful and homey to me.

Colorado- Loveland Pass

On the way back to Kansas, we drove over the Loveland Pass. It was freezing and super windy, but so beautiful!

Colorado-Dillon

We had such a fun and refreshing time visiting my Uncle and Aunt in Dillon, Colorado. It was amazing to be able to breathe delicious mountain air and be surrounded by nature.

Colorado- Glen Eyrie

It was so delightful to be able to stay at the Glen for a few days. Fresh air, beautiful hikes, and cream tea. Love, love, and love.

Insanity

It's crazy that another school year has ended. The past month and a half have been insanely insane. Here are a few pictures that somewhat encapsulate the happenings.

Romeo and Juliet- Lao Style

On Saturday I had the pleasure of enjoying a play put on by the literature class of the Lao-American college. Here are a some pictures and videos. The crowd responses are my favorite. And also, in true Shakespearean style, the role of Juliet was played by a dude.

Sabaidee Pi Mai! 2

I had so much fun on Monday, the second day of Pi Mai, at a street party with some Lao friends. It's much more fun flinging water at passing trucks and motorbikes than being the one having water flung AT you.

The boys were arming themselves with little plastic bags filled with yellow-colored water (yes that is water, no they're not water balloons). These things have sharp corners and leave welts and bruises.

This dude had amazing aim. He would hit his target in the face with a water bag almost every single time. And he was encouraged to do so!

This guy, however...I call this one "Almost Got 'Im".

So much fun. I'll definitely be celebrating this way again next year!
